Ryan Watson, Rocco's Co-Owner, Stone Carver & Masonry Designer has been a member of the Canadian Progress Club for many years. The club is a men’s service club chartered in 1981 which supports many worthwhile projects in Saskatoon and area. They are part of a national organization that is an all-Canadian Service Club operating in Canada since 1922, having no international affiliations, no political affiliations and concentrating their efforts to assist Canadian projects in our local communities. The Club is made up of individuals from Saskatoon who have a common interest in bettering our community by helping those in need. In particular they focus on children’s needs. The Club began its charitable giving with support to Big Brothers Association of Saskatoon and was responsible for the building of the Big Brothers permanent home on 33rd Street East. Construction started in 1987 and the home was officially dedicated in May of 1988. Big Brother’s have since amalgamated with Big Sisters and moved to larger more suitable facilities. The Club provided our wholehearted support to the two organizations to sell the building on 33rd Street and use the proceeds to help fund the new location. Nicolene Watson - Director of Media
