38 HAND CARVED PIECES EQUAL 2 LIMESTONE COLUMNS

Our site crew may have been rained out today but the carving continues inside our Carving shop. Stone Carver and Masonry Designer, Ryan Watson is seen here carving out the final stages of the capstone for the second column.

Each column is made up of 19 hand carved individual pieces using various chisels driven by either a pneumatic (air driven) hammer as seen above, or hand mallet and chisel. Once complete these two columns will stand proud at the entryway of our latest project on University Drive as seen in the gallery of our previous blog.
